感谢网友“盛鑫源”免费提供路由器。这是beta测试固件,英文界面。测试后请在此帖反馈。

刷机说明:
Linksys EA6500v1是有failsafe功能(双引导)的路由器,刷机过程与非failsafe的路由器有所区别。
从官方固件直刷步骤:
基本原则:首次从官方固件刷,TT固件只能刷在第一个分区。
1. 路由器正常启动后,登录官方界面,选择 左边菜单项【Connectivity】






2. 在弹出的页面中,点击按钮【Choose File】,选择tt固件,然后点击按钮【Start】






3. 静等刷机完成,路由器重启。
4. 重启后如果仍然出现官方界面,说明tt被刷到了第二个分区。没关系,在官方界面下做一次升级,升级必须用官方固件。
   升级完成,路由器会自动切换到另一个引导分区。
   在官方界面中,再次刷tt固件即可顺利刷入tt固件。重启后会出现tt登录界面。
5. 重启后如果进入了tt界面,恭喜你,刷机成功了。

在首次登录tt界面后,建议先做一次升级操作,选择同一个tt固件。升级操作会自动清除第二引导分区,以后即可随意升级tt固件了。


总结一下刷机要点:
在官方界面刷tt后,如果重启后仍然出现官方界面,则必须再刷一次官方固件,然后刷tt,并在tt重启后做一次升级tt。
在官方界面刷tt后,如果正常出现tt界面,则应该做一次tt的升级。
如果已经刷dd,可以通过dd界面直接刷tt。

1.      请测试直接在原厂Web界面升级是否可行?
2.      若原厂界面无法升级,先刷DD,在DD界面再升级看看?
3.      升级到TT后,看看型号识别是否正常?无线双频(2.4G,5G)是否正常?
4.      指示灯没有做特殊处理,观察一下是否正常?

I only post builds I personally test, these AC units are not cheap and bricking them is not fun... That being said I can vouch for KONG as his latest build DOES work on the D1800h and the AC66u as far as non arm devices go...

It does not work on the EA6500.. I have tested nightly builds and can confirm that they brick this device this means brains Slayers, KONGS, and my own, that is why I have not released any new builds for the EA6500. This is not KONGs fault!

I will work with kong on fixing this, I am getting section 8 kernel panics which is what is causing the boot loop.

I am going to try and get my hands on the EA6900 device today to help get dd-wrt support for it.

looked at specs:
EA6700 - 1ghz cpu 128mb ram
ea6900 - 800mhz cpu 256mb ram

choices lol.
