I bought a KAI-LLINK USB network card, but I can't connect to the AP under XP

It's OK under WIN ME
The icon under XP is red, and the parameters cannot be changed. Unable to access the AP's WEB,
But it seems that it has received a signal from the AP again.
What's going on?

(The driver is the XP driver from here)

Occasionally, I have encountered a similar situation before, it should not be a problem with the card, it is related to the settings. At that time, I vaguely remembered that I used to be able to use it when I connected it to XP, and after a while, the same situation as the owner appeared, as if it was time to connect and interrupt, and there was no such problem on the 98 system, and then I kept digging into the horns and always suspected the problem of the card, and I almost switched with Brother Ink, until one day I changed it in the attributes of the wireless network connection, as if I had removed something and it was OK immediately, and now I can't remember that card is not at hand, the landlord will try again.

Thank you for your help.
But I can't find any wireless network settings under XP. There are only a few wireless network cards in hardware management, is it here? I changed it, but it didn't work.

Also, the options in the tool (monitoring) program of the cassette are all virtual and cannot be changed, is it normal?

The situation you described should be normal under the XP system, and I checked that the card I used to be the same as the owner's, I vaguely remember that I modified something in the setting window related to WEB encryption and it was done! [/COLOR]

Most wireless cards do not require any management software under XP, because XP comes with it.

Is the AP encrypted?

AP is not encrypted.
The same network card can access the AP without any settings under WIN ME.
Under WIN XP, life and death are not possible... It's depressing
