A few days ago, I received a high-power AP and SL2511CD network card ordered from Enshan Computer, I am a rookie of WiFi, and after Zhao Zilong's many helps, I got ADSL+AP wired and wireless Internet access. The results of the field test are announced today, hoping to be helpful to netizens.
Test environment: ordinary residential building, the test points on the second floor (rooms A and B) are about 30 meters away in a straight line; Room A covers an area of 130 square meters, 12 meters from north to south, 9 meters from east to west, 3 rooms in the south, with a study room in the middle and a leap structure; Room B is 200 square meters, duplex structure, 10 meters from north to south, 8 meters from east to west (the above data is a step measurement, the error will not be too large)
Test equipment: high-power AP (insert SL2511CD network card, desktop antenna), SL2511CD (high-power) network card, small antenna, desktop antenna, notebook (Lenovo Zhaoyang E420)
Test (1): The AP is placed on the desk in the study room of Room A, about 2 meters away from the south window, and the SL2511CD is connected to a small antenna (be sure to connect to the main port of the network card, hehe, I made a mistake, almost...) The signal can cover all the spaces of room A, with a signal strength of 60-100% and a stable network speed of 11m; Connected to a desktop antenna, the signal strength is 80-100%, and the network speed is stable 11m.
Test (2): AP is placed on the desk of the study room of room A, about 2 meters away from the south window, SL2511CD is connected to a small antenna, the signal can cover most of the space in room B, the signal strength is 20-100%, the network speed is 2-11m, and the Internet is not affected; Connected to a desktop antenna, the signal strength is 40-100%, and the network speed is 2-11m (the network speed is 2m when moving, the lowest network speed is 5m when stationary, and most of them are 11m).
