Can the bridge be used as a single bridge?

After receiving the wireless signal of the main route TPlink6080, the WTC181 wireless router pulled a 50-meter network cable and plugged it into another room to plug in the K3 router for wireless AP. WTC181 is a bridge mode, K3 is not particularly stable, there is a packet loss rate of about 4%, I want to change the 50-meter network cable to an optical cable, and then WTC181 can find a bridge that receives 5.8G signals instead? In this way, the interference with the 5G signal of the main route will be much smaller, and the reception capacity of the bridge should be much stronger than that of WTC181, I don't know if there is a bridge that can be used alone to receive the 5G signal of TP6080?

If the distance is close, there is no need for a bridge, just K2P.

Looking at the firmware, it is estimated that the fool pairing is not good

I have tried that once the wifi signal is turned off, it cannot receive the WIFI signal of the main route, so I want to consider using a bridge, just like the wireless network card of the desktop, only receive the signal, do not transmit the wireless wifi signal, the stronger the signal of the router used for bridging, of course, the better the stability of the reception, but the greater the interference with the main route, because it is the same channel. This one I tested as well.

There is no network card that only accepts wireless signals that do not transmit wireless signals, because the transmission of wireless network cards is bidirectional, unlike radios that listen to radios that only have reception functions  detail Reply Posted on 2022-6-4 09:12

Ah, indeed, there is information that is downloaded, and there is information that is uploaded, and my idea cannot be realized. You can only adjust the strength of the wireless signal at the receiver end so that it does not interfere too much with the signal of the main route.  detail Reply Posted on 2022-6-5 08:08
