The big guys bought an ER-X yesterday and set up WAN LAN according to the official settings
Question 1:
ETH0 is DHCP
ETH1 connected to the PC has gigabits
The K2P connected to ETH2 shows only 100full

Question 2:
The home is 1000 megabit broadband, and the speedtest test is only more than 700, is it normal to turn on hardware acceleration

Change the network cable, I don't know if it's a network cable problem, if you measure the speed, the node is also changed, you are moving, and the node is telecommunications

Okay, thank you, I used to be plugged into K2P in all rooms, all of which can run gigabit, but when I changed to ER-X, it became 100 gigabits, I don't know if it's a problem with my settings  detail Reply Posted on 2023-4-16 16:29

ER-X is less than a gigabit bandwidth, which is between 850~900 at most. Last year, it was laid off and the soft routing was changed. You can try forcing the port to be enabled in K2P with Gigabit enabled, which defaults to automatic recognition.

Big brother, how many meters can you run with a soft route?  detail Reply Posted on 2023-8-5 17:14

Your eth1 is gigabit, and eth2 is 100 megabits.

I also have this ghost problem with ER-x, eth1 often becomes a 100 gigabit connection after a while, and sometimes it works fine after restarting. For this reason, I also flashed the openwrt firmware, which also changed to 100 megabytes after a period of time.
I don't know if it's a problem with the network cable or the port? :@

The soft route is stable at around 1020M, and if it breaks through 1100M, it will suddenly become 100M, and then it will take about 2 minutes to recover to 1000M.  detail Reply Posted on 2023-8-14 15:08

My er-x has been used for 5 years, during which eth1~eth4 has tried to jump 100 megabits, and even disconnected from the network.
However, I have a network cable tester, and every time I test, I confirm that my network cable is hung up, and some of the wire cores are not connected
If the network speed is about 960M, gigabit devices will definitely not be able to soak gigabit

Turning on hardware acceleration can run 950 and 960M, and openwrt has also been brushed, and mine does not have the problem of changing gigabit to 100 gigabit.
