Starting with 9068 there are new names:

- VINT: vintage build (old driver), works on any router but 5354 based
- NEWD: new driver with multi bssid support, works on any router but 4702 (4710) based
- SF: build for routers with serial flash chip, e.g. Belkin v2000.
- WRH54G: build only for Linksys WRH54G router

General rules: if you have old router with 4702 (4710) cpu and mini-pci
radio, you MUST use VINT build, if you have 5354 based router, you must
use NEWD build. All other routers can run both (VINT or NEWD) builds.

有一位用了9068的，做了两个版本的测试：
wrt54g V2 Broadcom BCM4712 chip rev 1 corerev = 7 using mini 9068

NEWD:
Lots and lots of TX errors, above 50%
WEP Virtual AP still does not work.
Post upgrade results in over 3.3mb free memory.
linksys wet54g bridge seems to stay connected more reliably with the new drivers. much fewer disconnects.
Also, I see no evidence for hardware mac address support in the NEWD drivers for anything beyond the main AP as indicated in the readme file, so I have no clue how to tell if its there and working.

VINT:
no TX errors beyond normal.
WEP Virtual AP connects immediately.
Post upgrade results in 2mb free memory.
constant disconnects and reconnects for wet54g bridge....but it works.

Running on repeaters (haven't touched my core network yet...meaning the Host AP...still running 8790)

WRT54G v1.0 - running 9068 VINT Std
WRT54G v2.0 - running 9068 NEWD mini
WRT54G v5.0 - running 9068 NEWD Micro
WRT54G v5.0 - running 9068 VINT Micro
HP-54G -running 9068 NEWD Std
WAP54G - V1.0 - running 9068 VINT nokaid

All working fine...traffic graphs working much better with this build.
I have been having a problem with the HP-G54 unit running in Repeater mode. .........

这样看来4712可以用NEWD，但无线中继暂时有些问题，还是用VINT比较好
