[已解决]小米R1D，已刷隔壁Tomato，想刷FreshTomato，应该怎样操作？

之前有老哥说要 清除NVRAM，我印象中有人因此而变砖。
今天翻了下 FreshTomato 的 WiKi （https://wiki.freshtomato.org/doku.php/hardware_compatibility），
Xiaomi Mi R1D 的 notes 明确建议说 不要清除NVRAM，否则可能变砖。

请教一下是不是直接下载 FreshTomato R1D 的固件， 然后在 KoolshareTomato 的 系统管理 > 升级 把固件丢进去就行了？

还是说需要做什么事先的准备工作？

我看了其他人的帖子，有个人从KoolshareTomato刷DDwrt都不用清除设置
我就试了下，直接上了FreshTomato，没清除设置，更不敢清除NVRAM
刷完等网页自动跳转后，Ctrl+F5强制刷新一遍网页，设置界面就能看到了

我又刷回隔壁的Tomato了
FreshTomato不知道为何，无论我怎么设置，5Gwifi都无法实现866.5Mbps的链接速度，实际最多就5xx
刷回KoolshareTomato就可以了

再次刷回FreshTomato
把WiFi选成澳洲，设备列表又能867了
貌似设置成第一个 #a 更稳


另外WMM必须要开启，否则 iOS 设备协商会有问题， No ACK 和 APSD 最好关闭

直接升级即可，没什么要准备的，记住要清除原有的所有设置。

是要勾选 升级固件后，擦除NVRAM内存中的所有数据 吗？

我貌似印象中有人点过这个，路由器就成砖了

清除NVRAM，这是刷Tomato以及升级的标准步骤，也是官方推荐的步骤。

你找个按此步骤操作变砖的例子给大家见识见识。

我直接切换着刷了3轮FreshTomato和KoolTomato也没有问题呀
别人还直接刷DDwrt没清空NVRAM呢，怎么就成标准步骤了

NVRAM里面存放的是配置文件，之所以要清空是因为绝大多数新的程序使用的变量不同配置不同，无法使用旧的配置变量。不清空的话，有时没发现问题，因为新固件无法读取旧的某个变量时，会自行采用默认的变量。

清空配置绝不会造成变砖，变砖绝对是其他原因，例如新的本身固件有问题。

Tomato by Shibby以及FreshTomato都是强烈建议升级时清空NVRAM，DD-WRT更过分，强烈建议做30-30-30 reset。

As the first step in troubleshooting any issue, try to reset the router to default settings using "Erase all data in NVRAM memory (thorough)" option on the "Administration -> Configuration" page of the FreshTomato GUI. Do not restore your settings from the backup configuration file - always reconfigure the router manually when troubleshooting the problem!

Hard Reset (aka 30/30/30 reset)Note: This should only be done on older routers. On newer routers, ex: Asus N66U, this will put them in recovery mode instead.
The following procedure will clear out the NVRAM and set dd-wrt back to default values:

• With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on back of unit for 30 seconds
• Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds
• Plug the unit back in STILL holding the reset button a final 30 seconds  (please note that this step can put Asus devices into recovery mode...see note below!)
  

This procedure should be done BEFORE and AFTER every firmware upgrade/downgrade.

非常非常非常稳！

反观小米原生固件，做AP模式打游戏都460

没有什么特殊需求，可以刷2020年最后那版
今年加了很多不是很必要的东西，如果做AP，WAN口要多设置一步桥接，否则无法上网

IMPORTANT : This unit may be bricked if you attempt to FULLY erase NVRAM. Resetting values to defaults works safely. To access the CFE when you have the stock xVortex CFE, you must power on the unit while holding the Reset button for 10 seconds.
