Seek help! WR703N to 16M Flash, do I need matching firmware?

I was ready to upgrade the 703 on hand to Flash, and took out 16M SPI Flash on the almighty X treasure. Please ask the following questions:
1. My current is the original 4m, I have brushed the official version of openwrt, and uboot has not been brushed to death. Do I need to flash other uboot if I upgrade?
2. Does the version of openwrt need to match 16m flash?
3. Can I directly expand on the original set of firmware, the steps are as follows:
a. Generate a 12MB binary file with all the contents in 0xFF
        tr '\000' '\377' < /dev/zero | dd of=0xFF_12MB.bin bs=1M count=12
b. Then merge with the original firmware to form a 16m one.

Is it okay to just brush the front 2m?

Just flash the undead uboot and then back up the art of the original firmware

Is that UBOOT 64K or 128K, just brush it in, but as mentioned above, you need to use a programmer to back up the original firmware, and then you need to flash ART in the immortal UBOOT, otherwise there will be no wireless...
